Right, where was I?

I finally finished the massive Quest for the Holy MacGuffin and am now obsessed with unlocking tattoos and new areas previously overlooked. Yesterday I finally got my black armaments tattoo, and bought all the components for Glad Bag Glad Rags, which I can’t obtain normally due to my class.

I think it suits me.

The adventurer is me!

Last week I finally collected 80 of the 100 dusty animal bones I needed to get my skeletal familiar, so I decided to treat myself and just buy the remaining pieces. So now I have Georg, who is deliciously creepy and likes to claw people in the face!

I’d been spending all of my daily adventures in the Haunted Conservatory, though, so now I hardly know what to do with myself. I guess it’s back to questing for me, which also means upping my Moxiousness so I can access all the necessary areas without dying every fifth turn.

Dem bones

My latest KoL addiction is adventuring for piles of dusty animal bones in the Haunted Conservatory. These yield random dusty bones which, when I’ve acquired all one hundred, will form the fearsome misshapen animal skeleton familiar:

There is a science to bone-hunting, and while it is possible to purchase all of the missing bones from the mall, I am determined to get them all by adventuring (although gift bones will of course always be welcome) – a habit I will examine in future posts. As it stands, I’m just over halfway to my goal.

Sweet merciful stats gain, today’s adventuring really planked my walk (that’s a good thing). All credit goes to the fine, drunken pirates that inhabit Barrrney’s Barrr in the Obligatory Pirate’s Cove, where the drunker on rotgut shots you are, the better your karaoke.

Adventured in the Goatlet until I 1) received 40 billy idols for the Bounty Hunter, 2) found six chunks of goat cheese for the l33t trapz0r, and 3) finally hit level 12.

- I have a couple of quests pending but right now I’m focusing on tattoos, trophies and getting my Moxie high enough to adventure safely.

- Burned through my daily adventures in Cobb’s Knob Menagerie, Level 2 and advanced a few Mysticality points. Three more to go! Level 12…so…close…

- Put Sir Squeak the balloon monkey (25 lbs) back in the Terrarium and am now lugging around familiar #6, Gonald the blood-faced volleyball.

- Little else to report except that my PMOG pals Chetyre and t0nedef have showered me with gifts and meat. This Pastamancer’s unprotected, empty belly thanks you, while her greedy, coal-black heart dances with glee.
